This page explains what eldoradoaventura.com collects about you, why, who can see it, and how to have it changed or removed.

Who runs this site

Eldorado Aventura is run by a few owners and residents of Eldorado Towers as volunteers. It is not the Association's website. The Association and the management office keep their own records, such as owner files, access cards and work orders. Those records are not covered by this page. Only what this site itself stores is.

What we collect when you ask to join

The join form asks for:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Which tower you live in, 3625 or 3675 N Country Club Drive
  • Your unit number
  • Whether you own or rent
  • The language you were using on the site

To slow down abuse, the form also keeps a scrambled version of your internet address for 24 hours. The address itself is not stored, and these records are deleted automatically after a day.

How we check that you live here

The site keeps a list built from the members of the neighbors' WhatsApp group: the name shown there, the tower and unit when known, and a scrambled version of the phone number. The number itself is not kept. When you ask to join, your phone number is scrambled the same way and compared with that list, together with your tower and unit.

If the phone number and the unit both match, the site lets you in right away and tells the volunteer administrators so a person still looks at it. If they do not match, your request waits for an administrator to review it. The phone number you typed stays on your account so an administrator can reach you, and you can change it on your Account page. Once your request is decided, the copy of the number on the request itself is cleared. The scrambled version stays so the same request is not approved twice.

If you are in the WhatsApp group and do not want your entry used for this check, email hello@eldoradoaventura.com and we will remove it from the list.

What we collect on the contact form

The contact form on the public pages asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number, which you can leave blank
  • Whether you are buying, renting or just curious
  • Your message

The name, email, interest and message are saved in the site's database along with a scrambled version of your internet address, used only to limit how many messages one connection can send in an hour. The whole message, including the phone number if you gave one, is emailed to the volunteers. The phone number is not kept in the database.

What we collect from signed-in members

If you ask a question on the FAQ page, the site saves the topic, your question and your name as the person who asked. It emails the question to the management office at residentservices@eldoradotowers.com with your email address on copy and as the reply address, so the office answers you directly. Site administrators do not answer questions.

If you send a request to the management office from the Requests page, the site saves the category, subject and text, and emails it to the office with your name, tower and unit. You are copied on that email and replies go to you. The text of the request is hidden from administrators unless you tick the box to share it with them.

On your Account page you can change your name, phone number, language and whether you want neighbor alert emails and digests. Changes to accounts, access decisions and other administrator actions are written to a log that records who did what and when. The log does not store the content of what was changed.

Signing in and cookies

There are no passwords. To sign in, you type your email address and we send you a link. Clicking the link signs you in. The sign-in service also records when you last signed in.

Supabase, the service that handles sign-in, sets cookies in your browser so you stay signed in as you move between pages. The site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Who can see what

The volunteer administrators can see each member's name, email, phone number, tower, unit, whether they own or rent, role, status, the date they joined and the date they last signed in. They also see open join requests and the questions and requests described above.

Other residents never see your details through the site. A FAQ question shows the name of the person who asked, and nothing else about them.

Documents are kept in private storage. When you open one, the site creates a download link that stops working after ten minutes.

Who else receives your data

The site runs on services provided by other companies, which hold data on our behalf:

  • Supabase, which hosts the database, sign-in and document storage
  • Vercel, which hosts the website
  • Resend, which sends the site's emails

The management office receives two things by email: requests you send from the Requests page, with your name, tower and unit, and questions you ask on the FAQ page, with your email address. Nothing else is sent to the office.

We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Your account and the records tied to it are kept for as long as the account exists. Nothing is deleted on a schedule except the scrambled internet addresses from the join form, which go after 24 hours.

If an administrator removes your access, your record is kept so access can be restored later. If you want it gone completely, ask and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can see and change your name, phone number and language on your Account page at any time.

To have your account, your contact message or your WhatsApp list entry deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, email hello@eldoradoaventura.com. A volunteer will handle it.

Changes to this page

If what the site collects changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
